Hello Everyone!
We just got back from a great weekend filled with fun times with Nick and Laura. We had a blast, visited an ancient jazz club, stayed at a fancy hotel, ate good food, took a ride on a bike cab, enjoyed the karaoke night club scene, and played Taboo! This morning we hit up the outlet malls for some new clothes and sunglasses.
When we got home we finished our garden by adding new soil and planting potatoes, onions, and peas! The lettuce is doing great and we have room for more herbs, tomatoes, and peppers.
I got my lesson planning done for the week so we can hopefully relax the rest of the evening. This week is parent-teacher conferences so I will be at work until late each night. I am heading back to Portland on Thursday morning for a two day conference. It should be really great. It is a Social Thinking Autism Conference by Michelle Garcia Winner. Hopefully it is really interesting and full of wonderful ideas.
