We are gearing up to have a fabulous garden this year. We got our Territorial catalog (http://www.territorialseed.com) in the mail this week and I drew up some possible ideas for planting all of the veggies and other garden treats. Travis and I created an awesome gardening space last year. He dug up some of the grass in the back yard and I spent hours fishing out rocks and roots to make room for the new dirt. Our garden was very successful with healthy herbs, tomatoes, peppers, and some flowers. Now we have more time to think about it and learn about what grows well in Eugene.
We are going to a composting and worm bin training put on by the Oregon Extension (http://extension.oregonstate.edu/lane/gardens) within the next month to figure out how to make dirt. Good times.
